Claude Code Foundation

This section establishes the mental model needed for the hands-on SDLC exercises. It is intentionally concise: focus on delegation, context, and supervision rather than memorizing product internals.

What matters

  • You own the outcome; Claude Code performs and verifies delegated work.
  • Clear context and constraints matter more than step-by-step keystroke instructions.
  • Claude Code can read, search, edit, and run commands without attendees memorizing a tool catalog.
  • Sub-agents help separate independent responsibilities, but they are an advanced workflow.
  • Best practices are reinforced inside the SDLC exercises rather than taught as a separate lecture.
